There was an early interview where they mentioned doing more weird timeline stuff, lol
I do think that a rewatch is more rewarding, but yeah, the timeline is an obstacle for first time watching when you're just trying to casually/background watch it.
It took me a few watches to realize that season 1 was just a super long prologue for the story that will start in season 2 lol. I can't wait, I really adore this show.
i hope this season makes sense and we see some henry dick. i really disliked how anya was always topless for things she could've just had a nice top on for. it's his turn!
(serious, though-if anya has to show her tits again i'm gonna be so pissed. she has a nice body but there honestly was no need for yennefer to be topless during 1x04 doing a djinn spell. if he's not gonna show even a side of a bum, she shouldn't have to show a sideboob.)
... I like the showrunner, don’t get me wrong. But yeah the whole “it’s so empowering to have her tits out” kind of drove me nuts. (I don’t even blame the actress. She’s super young and probably feels like it’s empowering. But I think she’ll feel differently when she’s a decade older.) The use of nudity during her transformation, it was really powerful. And I don’t even mind her naked in the bath because, she’s in the effing bath. But yeah the djinn stuff was just over the top and DISTRACTING especially for an episode that already included other female nudity.
