i keep meaning to watch the staircase but idk never seem to get around to it.

random fact: before he got his big break colin firth auditioned for the theatre company i worked for and didn't get a part. i wonder what the directors at the time thought when he was suddenly everywhere as mr darcy lmfao (obvi i wasn't working there at the time cause i was way to young lmfao).

i watched it with a friend and we both were like, i cant believe they did alladat to make him look innocent and totally failed at it. He looked like a sociopath
