Rachel Bilson (Summer Roberts) + Melinda Clarke (Julie Cooper-Nichol-Atwood) announced that they are launching an O.C-themed podcast. The first episode is set to drop April 27th.

Former cast members, writers and musicians will also be making appearances.

the editing! in ps you need to use layer masks to place their images on the orange background by "erasing" the rest of the photo and whoever did that just did a shoddy job

And do people in these rich coastal towns really live like this? I know we had Laguna beach but I think the O.C. was more authentic than that

I grew up in Orange County went to Newport harbor and found it sadly semi realistic at least Marissa’s life’s the rich parents being busy socializing while their kids were miserable and on drugs. Sadly I did not have any money and wished the cohens would adopt me

It is! although it honestly looked more like harbor prep then the school that was shown in season 3 as the “bad school”

The OC was one of the very few shows my whole family could watch together and all get a similar level of enjoyment--it's fascinating to go back and see how much of it is a time capsule and how many dialogue zingers still hold up

2003 here we come, right back where we started from!

One of the unresolved plots that always bugged me was that Teresa actually did have her baby meaning Ryan didn't know he had a son for possibly his entire life which is pretty sad.

I used to watch The OC every spring/summer when I was revising for exams as a break in between so it gives me such nostalgic vibes.

In my head, the boy that Ryan sees in the finale is his son with Theresa. Whether the timing makes sense with his age or not, I don’t care, I want to believe.

Wait, am I misremembering? I could’ve sworn he ran into her with the kid and asked about it and she told him it was Eddie’s and not his.

No, Ryan never ran into her with the kid. He ran into her in S2 and then the second scene was her going into her house saying hi to her kid and her mother saying “he looks more and more like his father” everyday and the kid looked more than Ryan than Eddie, and Theresa said something that suggested it was Ryan’s. Then Kirsten ran into Theresa with the kid and she said it was Eddie’s but again there were strong hints that it was Ryan’s.

It’s never confirmed but I’m pretty sure they hint it’s Ryan’s
