Rachel Bilson (Summer Roberts) + Melinda Clarke (Julie Cooper-Nichol-Atwood) announced that they are launching an O.C-themed podcast. The first episode is set to drop April 27th.

Former cast members, writers and musicians will also be making appearances.

Everyone’s gonna be like move on, no one cares anymore but like... I loved the O.C., I’m in the mood for nostalgia these days and it’s not like either of these two ladies (sorry ladies) have much else going on so milk it

Also please get the Luke actor on one of the episodes so he can say “welcome to the OC bitch” thanks

And do people in these rich coastal towns really live like this? I know we had Laguna beach but I think the O.C. was more authentic than that

I grew up in Orange County went to Newport harbor and found it sadly semi realistic at least Marissa’s life’s the rich parents being busy socializing while their kids were miserable and on drugs. Sadly I did not have any money and wished the cohens would adopt me

It is! although it honestly looked more like harbor prep then the school that was shown in season 3 as the “bad school”

I wasn't from Orange County, but another rich SoCal town, and I found it surprisingly accurate to my high school lmao. I was a dirt poor nerd and not part of the cool rich kid crowd, but the parties, addictions, crazy shit going on with their parents, weirdly dramatic love triangles, and general rich kid lifestyles were all spot-on. Even now, when people ask what my high school like, I ask them if they've ever watched The O.C.
