Kevin is just written so poorly as a character, by the time it got to the conclusion of the scene with his dad I just felt nothing. I was just confused and emotionally nothinged about it.

Everything to do with football this week also had no pay off and led nowhere.

And yet, next week I will still be watching this. I blame my weakness for the camp and the cast!

Honestly tho, like it was nice to see a Sheriff Keller and Kevin scene because the actors have like the best parent-child chemistry on the show, but it also just felt out of left field af.

Yeahhhh so I prob did feel something (like disappointment) in that these two have always been sweet together but that whole conversation still led emotionally to nowhere! It ought to have been easy to make us feel something.

they were in an open relationship all during the seven years, and then when it was announced last episode that they're apparently engaged and having a baby with toni (as friends ofc), it was also revealed that he's a mess and not ready and he imploded their relationship and they broke up or whatever? and this week's storyline was all about how he's apparently ashamed of being gay for a reason i didn't really follow in his big emotional scene post hate crime (that was brushed over completely)

Last night’s ep was better than recent weeks, except the epic highs and lows of high school football were so boring and useless lol. I actually really loved the Betty and Cheryl scene and the main mystery is becoming more interesting. I hope they commit and it REALLY is aliens like no logical explanation Scooby Doo classic shit gimme Scooby Doo Zombie Island babyyyy

This is gonna sound weird because I know we all hate Cole and I talk so much shit about him here lol, but having watched this show since the beginning I kind of believe that he is one of the only actors still having fun with his character. He’s not good, but he’s actively trying more compared to some of the others *cough* Cami and KJ *cough* probably because he just gets to do the whole pretentious noir thing that he gags for.

Wtf are they doing with Kevin ugh that sauna scene was painful to watch, like what kind of gay trauma omfg. Like seriously that’s one of my worst nightmares.

Yes Lili and Madeleine were amazing in that scene! I loved how Cheryl just knew what to say and do and all her OTT was dropped as soon as she realised the gravity of the situation

There were some good moments last night! Betty & Cheryl; Tabitha with Ronnie and Reggie; Betty & Jughead, Archie and Jughead with their respective students (even though Jughead's got the tact and subtlety of a battering ram
