What Having Covid-19 Was Like For Celebrities

This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing 👊🏾👊🏾 No panic. pic.twitter.com/Lg7HVMZglZ

My husband had it. I'm not sure how I didn't end up with it as well because he snores and breathes all over me when we're sleeping. He lost his taste and smell first. Then he had a headache on and off for a few days and ran a slight fever. Then he was really fatigued. Thankfully his case was mild but it's not anything I would want to get and it was long 2 weeks quarantining in separate areas of our house. He still hasn't completely regained his senses but just within the past few days he said he feels like they came back but everything has a weird taste to it? Like he can eat a potato chip but it doesn't taste like a potato chip. So that's fun.

I just got my first dose today of Moderna! Only a sore arm so far. I am so happy!

Viruses are funny that way. My husband got swine flu when that was a thing, and the worst day for him he slept 22 hours and he felt awful. I didn’t really do anything to prevent getting it but I never did.

I'm so, so sorry. Are you coping at all, love? Please take care.

I'm not coping well at all Lol. I've been compartmentalizing like crazy. I picked up another job just so I could stay busy. It'll all come crashing down on me soon enough. But otherwise I'm alright.

Had it in December, lost my sense of taste and smell and am currently experiencing parosmia. Pretty much all food smells rotten, so does my toothpaste and deodorant. I can only eat fresh fruit, non-egg based noodles, and rice. I am so grateful that my COVID symptoms were mild but I'm frustrated that I have this long-term symptom and there's so little research that I could have this for the rest of my life. Especially because I probably got it from my partner, who went back to work in November, because I never leave the house.

I had it in October and got Parosmia in the past couple months. It sucks so much! Here's hoping we recover eventually.

Sending you a lot of love and a hopeful recovery! I heard smell training might work? Very little evidence to support that, but I have been sniffing away lol

My brother and I get our first dose on Thursday!

I haven't (at least, I don't think so). But I had two co-workers that got it. I am surprised not more of them haven't gotten it (because I have those type of co-workers).

I remember Idris's announcement because for some reason that was what made me realise "If he can get it, anyone can". He's relatively young and comes off so healthy and strong all the time that I couldn't lie to myself about this being 'just a wee strain of flu'.

idk how I never got it. I may have been asymptomatic, but with a body ravaged by eating disorders, alcohol and chainsmoking, I just feel... guilty, I guess? Like healthy people are getting this and (nearly) dying and I'm somehow spared? How's that fair? Covid guilt is real shit.
