It's cool if she actually did write it herself, but I kinda got the feeling it was carefully crafted for this drama and saying she wrote it is part of the story. Like it reminded me of Wrecking Ball and Skyscraper where the songs were so on point for where Miley & Demi each were in their lives that at first you kind of assumed they wrote the songs (or at least were gonna say that they did), but actually it was a whole team of people and neither of them had a songwriting credit.
Just curious whether I'm the only cynical one or if anyone else was thinking the same thing!
