I'd like to be fluent in French enough to be able to be officially considered bilingual (and get that additional money from jobs). I don't think anyone in my family speaks it anymore?
My great grandfather left his family young and never spoke French or taught his kids but I don't think his siblings taught their kids either?

I'm not willing to put the work in though (like all things in my life) so *shrug*

I started taking French at age 9 and stopped at 16. Now it’s obviously many years later, but I’ve been doing lessons every day for a month on Duolingo and my knowledge is actually coming back. It really does help. I literally just do 10 mins a day. I haven’t improved this much since high school, and that’s due to the fact that it was never a consistent, daily practice until now.

My pronunciation has absolutely gone to shit though. How did I used to pronounce those R’s so effortlessly?!?!
