i don't know whether because it's been too long since the first season or something but this season just wasn't hitting... like at all

I've been feeling that way too. They really lost a lot of momentum by having over 2 years in between the seasons. I remember the fall of 2019 I badly wanted a season 2 but then just had to accept it would be a long time before I saw it and I just became ambivalent to it.

I just started season 1 I'm 6 episodes in. I like it so far, the casting looks nothing like i pictured from the books but I don't hate it either. I can't wait for his step father.

Nice! Yeah I can't wait to meet more of the characters from the series. I think they badly need the other characters because it's just not interesting enough to focus only on Diana and Matthew!
