Can't wait to watch Ma Rainey! It's one of the award contenders I've yet to see, and why I'm keeping Netflix for another month before the price goes up. Now that I have HBO Max, gonna check out the Bee Gees doc, too.

I watched Minari this past weekend and I wanna discuss it with other people who've seen it, and are familiar with other independent Asian American films. I think it takes a very interesting departure from usual narratives about Asian American families and the American dream, but maybe I was expecting a bit more.

Scare Me hits wide VOD today, I’m think (although it’s been steaming on Shudder for a minute).

Museum town looks cute

I've decided I'm never again gonna waste $20 on a new release on VOD. Virtual cinemas are much cheaper and the money for my local theater supports the theater and a local record store

I've only seen I Used to Go Here from the movies listed, it was a waste of time.

I’ve been loving the Small Axe series and I thought the Bee Gees doc was fantastic. Looking forward to Ma Rainey but also not sure if I’m emotionally prepared for Chadwick’s final performance.
