I hate LOST now but i definitely agree the pilot was a hit, it hooks you from the start, the whole first season was fantastic.

I liked BrBa's pilot enough but the first season is the weakest one and the show takes a while to hook the audiences.

Smallville, despite the massive cheesiness of it all also had a good pilot. I would say Sleepy Hollow.

I definitely agree about Sleepy Hollow. I remember seeing the commercials and thinking it would be dumb as fuck which made me curious enough to watch. Then the pilot hooked me.

I still remember Sleepy Hollow at SDCC and thinking "omg, this is so dumb, they are making a tv show where Ichabod Crane gets resurrected in the present? That is SO dumb, it will be canceled immediately". And then the day after it premiered there was a post for next episodes and there were like 600 comments and everyone was raving about it!!

Sleepy Hollow season 1 was flawless and it really needs to be rebooted and done correctly this time, damnit!! Justice for Ichabbie!!
