Voted by mail and yesterday got a letter from our local office like "tHe sIgNatUres DoNt MaTch sEnD aNotHer ForM of SigNatUre." so I did and mistyped the email address.
I was wholly prepared to get on Facebook with my white woman photo and fake name and post on their page until I re-read.
I was all planning to bring my ballot to my polling place to drop off on Election Day but now I'm wondering if I should mail it in case the signature thing needs a correction. We have a tracking website so I can be sure it arrives and all.
See, if they're using my signature from when I registered, it has changed. (And I have MS, which can affect your handwriting.) Might just get the thing filled out signed and ready and bring it to the post office drop box soon.
I'm on an immune suppressant medication so there is no way I am going to be indoors with a group of people until the pandemic has eased. Same for early voting as my early voting location would mean getting on closed up public transit with other people.
I figured I'd drop my absentee ballot off at my polling place (closest option)on Election Day, but now my concern is the signature thing, so I'm thinking mail very soon.

Lots of people are voting early this election.

So far 6.5% of the 2016 electorate has already voted and many states haven even started early voting yet.
