Ugh Julie should have her EGOT. She should have won for either My Fair Lady or Camelot, and then she turned down a nomination for Victor/Victoria. I doubt the Tony's would reward her if she did a play on Broadway or something. Sigh. The fact that Julie fucking Andrews does not have a Tony of all awards!!

hollywood truly needs to decide whether the daytime emmy counts or not. (it shouldnt imo)

Hmm regarding the daytime and primetime Emmy I don’t think it should matter since the only difference is the time said show or presentation is aired.

Can't decide whether I think LMM should've won the Oscar the year he was nommd.

But give Sondheim his EGOT!

Not a LMM fan by any stretch of the imagination but I would say yes to this because Moana is incredible and La La Land was super overhyped and the music wasn't that great tbqh

I think so, La La Land should've been disqualified from the nomination pool the moment they had John Legend perform the nominated songs instead of the actors who performed them in the movie. There was no reason Emma and Ryan couldn't have been up there.
And I just really like "How far I'll go", Auli'i smashed it on that stage.

Ryan can't sing and Emma is limited.I want to be entertained. It's not uncommon to have someone else sing a song. Queen Latifah filled in for Renee zellweger because she was to nervous,or Kristen chenoweth performed instead of any Adams for the big number. The most unusual was 1985 where you had Stevie Wonder , Phil Collins and Kenney logins all nominated with their hit sons, but the producer had other people perform them. Diana ross, for stevie, debbie Allen for "Footloose" and a woman who was a better dancer then singer for "Against all odds"
