Nomadland seems like the stonger movie to me

the directors branch is such a bro club, they could also easily snub them both

In any other year, this would be a perfectly appropriate time to release Oscar predictions, but this seems premature to me considering the state of affairs with the film industry rn.

But I am excited to watch Nomadland tonight!

I know Da 5 Bloods had some problematic issues, but man, Delroy Lindo blew me away

If Oscars has a fucking thing to do with talent instead of money, popularity, and the Hollywood circle jerk, Delroy would have had an Oscar by now. He’s so fucking and slept on cause he’s mostly been regulated to so many small parts.

He's so incredible. Chadwick also really impressed me, even tho his role was small, I hope he gets a nom. Seems more likely for Ma Rainey tho, which I can't wait to see.
