I think I May Destroy You triggered me to the point of a nervous breakdown. I don't know why. I've seen/read stuff that's probably just as difficult from an objective standpoint, but I couldn't deal with it. Which is a bummer, because it's obviously great.

PEN15 season two should be nominated in every comedy category and Maya and Anna should tie and win in Lead tbh!

It lowkey makes me mad that they mention We Are Who We Are and yet don’t mention Lovecraft County which I think has the edge on them. Give Jurnee Smollett her Emmy

If they get a season two they need a better writers room for sure. But the acting is getting a ton of buzz so I can see the Emmys overlooking the writing for the performances

You really enjoyed season 2 of PEN15 like that? IDK, I wasn't feeling it and I much prefer the first season.

My friend recently gave me his HBO Max password and I'm pumped to finally catch up on everything I've been hearing about. I've seen Watchmen, Euphoria and Perry Mason so far. Gonna tackle I May Destroy You next and then Succession. Still deciding on if I'm too wimpy to handle Lovecraft but I wanna see it in case Jurnee and Jonathan get nominated.

Hoping that Schitt's Creek being over and other shows being delayed will make room for The Great to get some love. I thought both Elle and Nick were fantastic in it.

I agree, he did a wonderful job as Peter! Elle Fanning was also surprisingly great! They def deserve at least a nom. (Huzzah!)

The Great was so underrated and should have gotten way more noms. Nicholas started out as a favorite, he remains amazing, but Elle really, really surprised me. The writing is amazing, the sets, costumes, directing, all of it.

Agreed. I initially watched it for Nick and ended up being really impressed by the whole thing. I didn't really have expectations for Elle since I hadn't seen her in anything since Super 8 and was totally caught off guard by how good she was.
