Unpopular opinion, but I loved the Lost finale.

I still have mixed emotions about it but overall, seeing everyone together again was worth it <3

Lindelof literally said ‘fuck you’ to Alan Moore while promoting this.

The irony of Lindelof saying "my story is finished" after deciding to ignore Moore's strong intentions for Watchmen to be an entirely self-contained story.

I've been meaning to watch Watchmen forever, I know it's supposed to be phenomenal. But I have been making a concerted effort since Lost not to watch any more Lindelof shows, lmao. I've been burned before. I think I'm finally going to cave, though.

I think you'll find it's much stronger than Lost. The season is one story and there is room to grow from that season, but it's also a complete and satisfying story. I walked away with very few questions and the ones I had mostly stem from not being super familiar with the graphic novel and not because the show dropped the ball.

I really want to do a Lost rewatch at some point but I know I'm gonna wanna skip straight to when Juliet shows up. And thanks to this post, it's missing them hours yet again <3

I still don't know why I loved Juliet so much but great idea.

The only good thing that show gave us (and Desmond and Penny and The Constant but HIC ruined that for me)

I need to do a rewatch of Watchmen, what a fun experience to watch when it was airing. I had so many theories but I also didn't read the graphic novel so I'm sure other people had better ideas than me.

Also I appreciate that what he said about inclusion and diversity. A few months ago I said something about having more Black and POC on staff if we want to tell more stories featuring Black people and POC (I am white) and none of my white colleagues addressed it except one to say "I don't think that's really a problem" and I wanted to be like "Uuummm do you see any BIPOC from our team in this diversity meeting right now??" It's a conversation that needs to happen again and again if we're gunna make changes in the creative field.
