I saw Rocks at a film festival last year and really liked it! I hope it gets a US release at some point.

I'll probably watch TDATT bc it's on Netflix and I've been dying for some new stuff, but I haven't heard good things about that or Antebellum. :/

Watched Cat on a Hot Tin Roof for the first time earlier this week. It's clearly a play-turned-film, and the drama goes up to 11 like almost immediately, so if you don't like it after 15 minutes, I'd advise turning it off. But damn, Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman are both absolutely stunning in this film. I think it'd play so much better in the theater, especially since any mention of one of the characters being gay was excised from the film for Hays Code reasons - I'll have to check out a production at some point.

Also watched The Social Dilemma, which is depressing and made me glad I'm off FB. Still need to ditch insta and Twitter, but this prompted to go through my phone and made sure all my notifs were turned off.

We finished S4 of The Americans last night. The S4 finale was actually kind of tame compared to some of the other season finales, but I can't wait to see what they ( ... )

I watched Shadow in the Cloud on Sunday , which I really liked. Last night I watched the first two episodes of Trickster which was also quite well done and I’m really looking forward to the rest of the series. Violation is my last tiff tonight and I hope it’s a good one. I’m glad that Canadians are putting out more quality content. I just hate that they seem to refuse to watch their own content. I want to see more of our stories.
