ughgh P&P is my comfort movie. Literally just watched it last night for the billionth time. I CANNOT believe Keira was 20-21 during filming.

Love this movie so much! It's such a comfort movie. Idk why, I usually watch it as a double feature with The Young Victoria whenever I'm down.

That epilogue scene in the U.S. ver(?) is such a travesty tho. I watched the film when I was young and didn't read the full book til later. No wonder it felt like fanfic and out of place.

Rupert Friend looks sooo much better with facial hair to me. I also love that there's almost no real conflict so it's mostly just a falling in love montage

I'm sure she's a lovely lady but my god is she an AWFUL actor. I've seen most movies she's been in and there wasn't a single time she actually delivered a good, believable performance. Between her constantly tense jaw and her Blake Lively syndrome where she talks as if she's got super hot food in her mouth, the fact that she was such a filmmaker's darling @ some point is absolutely baffling to me.

100%, though idk I feel like that works for her in period pieces where she's supposed to be stiff and clipped - this and Atonement are the only things I've ever not minded her in

someone needed to tell the director of that movie that P&P is not a Bronte novel
