New Edition had so many hits as a group and with their solo acts. Even their 2004 album under Diddy that flopped had a few great songs on it. Hot 2 Nite is a bop.
I wasn't born yet when they were huge. I became a fan way later so I would love to see them in concert, but I heard that they're still beefing. The New Edition Story could have a Part 2 tbh. :/ Oh well, Ralph Tresvant is trying again with his solo career so I wish him well. He deserves it.
For the longest time I thought I Got My Mind Set on You was Billy Joel. And I SWEAR there was a video at like an arcade or toy shop or something where the toys were dancing. I guess I could look it up before posting this...
Not quite what this post is getting at, but I always think about how wild it is that the Zombies split before their most successful album was even released. Time of the Season was on that album, reached the Top 100, and they weren't even a band at the time.
