X-Files: Albuquerque will not focus on Mulder and Scully. It will instead follow the B-Team: a group of misfit agents tasked with cases too wacky or ridiculous for Mulder and Scully to bother

This sounds fun and a little like Lower Decks (not a big Star Trek fan but the show is pretty cute and fun, and I'm enjoying watch it)!

Will probably give this a shot if it's picked up to series.

I'm with you! I was obsessed with the series for most of the 90s, and I'm so sad at how indifferent I feel about it now. It just went off a cliff in S8 and 9, and the second movie was disappointing. I watched some of S10, but my heart was not in it; you just couldn't recapture the 90s. Also, Chris Carter had messed with my mind too much for me to trust he'd do justice to the reboot.
