X-Files: Albuquerque will not focus on Mulder and Scully. It will instead follow the B-Team: a group of misfit agents tasked with cases too wacky or ridiculous for Mulder and Scully to bother with. Chris Carter is on board as an executive producer but won't write or showrun the series.
