This might be slightly off topic but when it came down to the sequel for Star Wars the characters that I remember are Finn, Poe, Rose, Hux and Kylo/Ben but I could never remember Rey and I don't know why though. Like I don't know if it was Daisy acting or if it was something else but I could never really remember her character. Everyone else stood out through out the series for me but not with Rey and I still don't know why

I do however remember Daisy because of her privileged comment though

Honestly I found Rey most memorable from Force Awakens because Daisy and John played so well off each other and she had a bigger range of emotions. She got overshadowed by Adam in the later movies when more of her scenes were with him.

Yeah, your probably right about being overshadowed. I did rewatch TFA back in February/March of this year and both Daisy and John definitely had the best chemistry out. But in general I just couldn't remember Rey character as much and it could be the source material that was given for the other two movies or the acting but I was excited seeing Finn, Poe and Rose though

She was clearly more comfortable with John Boyega and that was evident in the first movie. She had no chemistry with Driver.

I never found Daisy to be that strong of an actress in Star Wars but I also haven’t seen her in anything else. Out of the original trilogy only Harrison went on to be a big actor but Mark and Carrie also has very successful for careers. Mark with his voice acting and Carrie with her writing and supporting roles. Maybe Daisy needs to look at that other than trying for leading roles.

I'm finding it strange that people didnt like her acting. I thought she did well in Star Wars TFA (haven't seen the others) and she was more expressive and varied than someone like Jennifer Lawrence who looks bored.

I mentioned in another comment that I liked her in TFA because she played so well off John and was given more range in TFA but got overshadow by Adam in TLA and Oscar in RoS.

I feel like she just does grimace acting. Like Emma Watson does eyebrow acting. She just grimaces a lot.
