Tbh this doesn't surprise me. Its like a large chunk of the Harry Potter kids have spoken about the same thing - how being in a big franchise doesn't automatically make you marketable/sought after, so it can be difficult to adjust.

I think its also about maybe aiming lower? I know that sounds bad, but like I don't think there's any shame in doing some indies or TV work if you can't find another blockbuster. They'd probably be more likely to hire someone for the name recognition then.

I think "aiming lower" has worked out really well for Daniel Radcliffe. He works constantly and seems to have a lot of fun doing it. I don't think he has much of an ego about being an actor at all so he actually gets to enjoy being one.

agreed and it seems like he picks projects he wants to do. He's done the franchise, he's made his money, so he can do the weirdo shit he enjoys rather than feeling like he has to do xyz to boost his career.

for sure! he seems really passionate about the projects he does pick too - like he can pick ones that he finds unique/challenging, instead of just what will be the biggest-selling. it also seems good for his mental health as i think he struggled with being in the spotlight so much.

She stole every scene she was in on Edge of Tomorrow. She even outshone Tom Cruise and he's notorious for being a perfectionist.

She was incredible in that film. It should have been about her.

She and Henry Cavill were on Graham Norton and said they had auditioned on something together, I wonder what it was.

I totally forgot about that. I wonder if it was for this Enola Holmes movie, and they were originally thinking of having Sherlock Holmes' sister be older.

Oscar Isaac is in Dune, which I hope will be a huge sci-fi success! (Please don't dash my hopes on that, haha.)
