- Netflix cancels Altered Carbon after 2 seasons.  According to Deadline, the decision not to proceed with further seasons was made in April and is not COVID

I read the first book and it was so misogynistic I never gave the show a chance tbh

Was there a part where [description of violence against women] the main character got kidnapped, transferred in to a woman's body just so the mob could rape his female body, shove hot pokers up the vagina and then when that female body was 'used up' got transferred in to another woman just so they could do it again and again? Cause that's when I pretty much checked out.

The first season was so good! Had no idea what the fuck was going on, but it still made sense in the end. Plus loved seeing Joel Kinnaman ass

The second was very predictable though sadly. And I heard the second season was based off the third book. So they totally skipped over some stuff. I did like how most of the main characters were black. Wish we saw Anthony Mackie Cheeks too though.

Still queen Renée Elise Goldsberry was a BADASS, hope she gets more gigs in the future

i didnt quite remember what happened at the end of s1 so for s2 i was kind of just looking for the blonde guy forever and being confused
