damn thats crazy, but good for her for being so open about the breakdown of everything. i wish more celebs were.

i wonder if she'll be making more per ep for this is us? as it seems she's going to be a regular

Early articles said she'd be a 'new key player' from the Pearsons so i'm definitely expecting her back. She always deserved better than the CW.

As for this is us, I am on the first season and I hope it's still as solid now.

15k for 78 eps is like 1.2 million before taxes so anyone who thinks she's rich is misinformed. Those net worth estimators aren't worth anything they're so, so wrong. Does she probably have more money than most of us? Yes. Or at least did.

net worth and actual profits are different.

I've always assumed that internet reports of celebs' net worth are pretty much made up, but damn, this puts it into perspective. (First thing to go should've been the social media team, imo! What a scam.)

I think social media teams can help you manage your endorsements and keep your posts non-cancellable -- seems like somewhat of a good investment to me

30%???

That's crazy. That's a number you should be taxing a corporation (without any nonsense loopholes or breaks) not a person who isn't a jillionaire

That's a pretty normal tax rate in Canada, fwiw.

It’s really weird how ppl were attacking her for this. This was super interesting and probably important for a lot of young actors to understand. Also people think that everyone on tv is Jlaw level wealthy when most of them (like in Adelaide’s case) are obviously very wealthy compared to someone like me lmao but they aren’t making enough money to live lavishly forever.

Lmao ppl really think she’s complaining I guess and not just being honest in a way that’s kind of unusual about her financials. Someone in her tiktok comments literally was like “you don’t have to live in a fancy house if your mortgage is so expensive you can live in a trailer park!!!!!” like?????
