how timely bc i'm going to be finishing the fushigi yuugi series today! plenty of problematic stuff about it, but it's genuinely a really good anime and holds up. can't wait to watch the ova's <3

ugh, i love finding anyone else who loved fushigi yuugi. it's mine and my older sister's childhood favorite. so many iconic and hilarious scenes. like we never have stopped referencing the Keisuke voicemail. i cried so hard and so long when chiriko died. my best friend and i used to write fanfiction on my old laptop and then go reenact it in the backyard. ha ha.
