'Graham was born in Geneva, Switzerland and raised in Los Angeles, California. It sounded like she considers it a given that as a biracial child, her white mother /had/ to drop her off at a hairstylist to do her hair rather than learn and do it herself (the mom). :( I hope I’m misreading it.

I'll spend a few weeks keeping it natural, but the maintenance takes up so much time - so I end up reverting to braids/ straightening my hair. It's a never ending cycle.
I'm thankful that my Mum taught me how to look after my hair. 🙏
