Celebs react to John Lewis' funeral in Atlanta

People gathered at Atlanta's Ebenezer Baptist Church Horizon Sanctuary today for a "celebration of life" honoring the late Congressman John Lewis. President Obama delivered the eulogy. Former presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush were also there.

I feel so bad that JL died during one of the most traumatic moments in history watching as the gop is trying to destroy everything the civil rights movement accomplished. And then some.

semi o/t, I saw somewhere recently that harry belafonte basically bankrolled the civil rights movement. does anyone know any good books or resources to learn more about this sort of thing, the roles people played behind the scenes sort of thing?
