I recently had a mediation case and we used Microsoft teams. The judge was able to move us to different groups easily.

Not sure how the judge wouldn’t have been able to remove people and lock the meeting on zoom. I’ve done that.

At work, NOBODY seems to know how to operate Zoom. Like, they’ll sit there and beg people to put themselves on mute instead of having the host just go and mute them. Even my coworkers in their 20s can’t figure it out. It wouldn’t surprise me if a judge couldn’t either

a lot of times it was kids' parents speaking and not realizing they were being picked up by the mic. it's not hard to do.

I've worked in government and I'll just say I wouldn't be surprised if they straight up don't know about these options. Clicking the meeting link in the email has been a hurtle for some people I've worked with these past few months.

Also, you can remove people from Zoom as the host. You can also reschedule and set up a new link with an access code. They're so dumb. I just hate that this is being stretched out.
