A status hearing on Britney Spears' conservatorship was canceled because a group of people who had nothing to do with the case refused to get off the scheduled Zoom call so the judge could conduct a confidential hearing. Those not legally involved in Britney’s conservatorship stayed on the Zoom call for over two hours, complicating the confidentiality of the subject.

After handling non-confidential matters, the judge ordered everyone off who was not involved in Britney's case. People tried to be slick by logging off, then logging back in and due to the refusal to leave, the judge chose to cancel the hearing.

In related news, Bryan Spears, Britney Spears’s older brother, gave a rare interview on Thursday. Regarding the conservatorship, he said, "She’s been in this thing for quite some time now. Obviously there was a need for it in the beginning...Now they’ve made some changes and all we can do is hope for the best." He added, "...having someone constantly tell you to do something has got to be frustrating. She’s wanted to get out of it for quite some time."
