The cast of Glee took to Twitter & Instagram to post tributes, after officials recovered her body.

This whole thing is so heartbreaking. She seemed like such a warm, funny person, and was obviously so full of talent. And parts of that Glee cast were so tight-knit, especially Naya and Heather and Naya and Kevin. I think she was fairly close with Amber as well.

This has hit me way harder than I expected it would. I’m honestly just so saddened by this entire situation.

ditto. i don't know why, but i feel like it's bc the situation was just so tragic. she went out for a day on the lake with her son and a tragedy took her life. it makes me sad that she only got 4 years with him and he will only ever have 4 years with her.

mte for me that’s really hard to shake. that she went out of her way to plan a nice summer day with her son and it just went so wrong

Yeah, this exactly. She just wanted to take her son out for a day and it's such a tremendous tragedy. And all the details just hit so hard especially with leaving behind her little boy who was clearly everything to her. And the flip side of him seeing her go under after she got him to the boat and then waiting until he fell asleep.
