Here are 4 celebrity promos that left us very disappointed. This was inspired by Brie Larson's announcement to join Youtube.

Criteria for my selection:
-- It involves a celebrity
-- Anticipation built up around the announcement
-- The announcement is a flop

despite the fact that I despise kendall and the rest of her ilk, I was about to command her regarding her struggle with acne, even though they made it sound so dramatic, it was nice for a brief moment that showcased that even a supermodel (lol) deals with acne, and it didn't let it stop her from enjoying her life etc.

aaaand then she announced her sponsorship with proactive and the entire thing turned into another flat tummy tea ad pushing products.

i can't think of any flops atm other than liam payne's #111 debuting album (and the rest of his music / youtube career).

it really takes away any genuineness out of it.

sharing something personal (and then talking about a product that actually helped her, even if it's an already pretty well known one) is one thing, but to flat out come out with a sponsorship for $$$ when you already have millions and free access to countless skincare & dermatologists is just tacky.

Pottermore was obvious it was going to be a flop. It’s like Mugglenet Pro, but not run by Harry Potter fans.

JKR should’ve just given us a Marauders prequel, deleted her Twitter and disappeared off the face of the earth.

I hate that there was a Maurader's detective show announced on April Fool's day by the Mugglenet website. The promo they made for it was really good too. I still want it

the kendall one is particularly hilarious bc the fact that some were actually expecting depth and honesty from that family is so beyond the scope of reality.
