The conservative nut jobs want him to run for Prime Minister because their party can't seem to find a leader that has any brains or charisma. Looks like they just want to settle for charisma to beat Trudeau. This country worries me.

I hope so too, but I don't think Jagmeet Singh is the one to lead us there and it looks like he's staying for awhile.

lbr regardless of his policies (I agree with some, defs do not with others) there's no way a Sikh man who wears a turban is going to be PM. We're too racist a country

omg this is clearly a PR move and not a goodwill one, but i'm actually surprised all the same since he's been on there FOREVER

lainey's piece (which was great) made me wonder what it was going to be like for them behind the scenes going forward but i guess he's avoiding that altogether

yeah my first thought was "glad Lainey doesn't have to deal with his blowback on set"

I loved what Lainey wrote! And it was super brave. I really think that it must have contributed to Ben "voluntarily" stepping down because oof, she said she was afraid of them and they are threatening people. I mean... that's pretty intense to publicly say that about a co-worker.

same here. i think he could have gotten through it unscathed without that. i honestly would have been less surprised had they ushered lainey out as a result because she really stuck her neck out by being so honest, which i respect, so i'm glad it didn't go that way
