Oh I came in here to ask if this was good but apparently not lmao which makes Me kinda sad bc I think Michelle Dockery is a pretty good actress, Good Behavior was a good show and gone too soon

At least watch it for Michelle. I thought she was the best thing in the show.

you can't see any of his other tattoos in that GIF so he's probably covered in makeup

I far preferred the book where it was clear Jacob had done it and had killed again, to boot. And then ended up dead.

idk, i think they tried to make it too ambiguous and too bittersweet and it came off wishy-washy instead.

Same! I'm not a fan of this ending. I thought the book's ending was perfect (though obviously very sad).

I like the idea of splitting the difference. Like if the series ended with it being more unambiguous that he had killed and then killed again but his mom didn't remember and he was still alive in a coma but with the possibility of waking up that would have been dark.

Yeah, that would have been a hell of an ending.

After reading the book ending, I would have preferred that ending to the one the show gave us. I'm not a fan of open endings.

I read the book but can't remember. ( spoiler )

The book's trial ended the same in both the book and show where Andy's dad had someone kill Patz and make it look like a confession and suicide. Sidenote: the ending to ep 7 when Patz was writing the confession was absolutely frightening because I knew Father O'Leary was pointing a gun at him in the shadows.

It's never explicitly said that Jacob is guilty but I do feel that Jacob's guilt was given more resolve in the book after the murder of Hope in Mexico.

The entire book is in Andy's perspective and reads like him being in great denial.

to me, it was just a bit more clear. between the girl in mexico showing up alive, and then while in the car him saying "fine I did it, if that means you'll slow down" leaves it ambiguous as well.

I sometimes don't mind "you decide" type endings but for some reason this one bugged me

The whole show was totally underwhelming tbh. Michelle Dockery was basically given nothing to do except look worried and slowly descend into madness ( ... )

I read Leighton was involved after maybe episode 3, and waited each week to see her and obviously never did! I think it was just some misinformation.
