I found Devi's father to be almost distractingly attractive for a sitcom dad, particularly since nobody in-universe ever comments on it (granted, he appears only in flashbacks).

I know what you mean, and this is definitely a show catered to teens, but I as a POC daughter of immigrants, found it super relatable, and found I had a lot of similar experiences to when I was a teenager, so it was great

This show is just so well done and well cast. Even 29-year-old Paxton works for me ;)
