My dad is a deadbeat, but if he was in my life and said the things ethan said abt uma abt my mom,idk if I would want *anything* to do with them

Also, "“I will get the opportunities I get. I will try as hard as I can to be brilliant in them. And if I suck enough, I’ll stop getting chances.”

no, this is not true at all lmao. ppl say she's good in ST, but even if she wsn't her career will be ok for as long as she wants it

I think that she had a tiny role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and some reporter pointed out that she probably got it because her mom is Uma Thurman and starred in Pulp Fiction and she was like "no I had to audition, I was hired because of my talent"
like girl, are you serious

They're the only things that make the tragic wages and cripling housing prices bearable

I'm a GenX and the only thing I had going for me is half-decent college tuition. I left college with a 4 year only owing about $18,000. (4 year, state college, used work study) I attended 1998-2002 and I swear I was the last gen to get decent affordable college.

but that's it. I've been fucked along with everyone else, I'm 40.

Until the 90s families had benefits, livable wages, health insurance, etc. I've been at a small town real estate company for 18+ years now, and I'm finally making $15/hour and I'm kinda grateful. Of course, the cost to live here is SO much cheaper than the country (US)

Yeah I'm grateful that tuition wasn't as insane as it is now (although it wasn't exactly free either). Also I graduated from college in 1998 and the job market was really good then. Then 9/11 and the dotcom crash happened and that fucked over a lot of people.
