Not at all. And I should make clear (because my original comment didn’t) that I’m definitely not against hearing aids and/or cochlear implants.

My issue is that videos like these often take an “inspiration porn” tone that is absolute garbage, and this implies that the individual using these devices FINALLY HAS VALUE! because able-bodied folks no longer have to make accommodations for THEM in order to communicate, etc.
