IDK, I don't necessarily think things with flags on them are racist, but I just don't get nationalism/national pride? I mean, I'm an American so what has my country ever done but genocide Native Americans, enslave my ancestors, sit around and do nothing for a couple of years while the Nazis killed Jews, stage coups, install puppet governments, send young poor men to die in Vietnam, cut taxes for the rich while gutting the very limited social safety system, mass incarcerate people, and detain immigrants in appalling conditions? I'm not trying to browbeat you, I just don't understand how you can divorce the flag (any nation's flag) from what it symbolizes. Britons may be known for their dry sense of humor and stiff upper lip attitude, but also imperialism, colonization, and racism. Sis, there are just better things to wear than a Union Jack tee!
