Ugghhh is she a conservative or something. What's with the gross people will die comment. How out of touch and absolutely stupid you have to be to make such a callous comment.

She seems like the type who never votes, too self-centered to care about politics and just apathetic unless it affects her.

Would you help your friend regain good public image after they made themselves look like a dumbass? I wouldn't. She made her bed lol

Can someone explain the whole herd immunity thing some countries are doing to me? What I don't get is how it's any different of a "strategy" than just letting people go about their lives and all get sick...if the goal is to get a large amount of the population sick in the first place. Will they have enough hospitals to handle it if the whole population gets sick at once? I assume they leave out the vulnerable populations and isolate them while they get everyone else sick? But what if an otherwise healthy young person dies because they were forced to get it by the government? I don't understand.

There's some idea by some sociopaths in power that it'll keep coming back so it's better for most people to be exposed to it and then somehow others will eventually become immune. It doesn't work because there's no immunization for it so it just seems like eugenics to me.

“That it’ll keep coming back” isn’t that what viruses do?!? Most of us are self isolating because that’s how viruses work and we have to be cautious until there are better treatments and vaccines right?

I don’t understand science :(

No one understands, it doesn't make sense, they don't have enough beds because even the amount of young people who get really badly sick from this is more beds then anyone has, also no one knows how long immunity would even last if you get the disease and work your way through it (there are already a couple of cases of people getting reinfected though that seems really rare).

I know no government or doctors have the perfect answer right now but the herd immunity "strategy" is a particularly twisted way of just throwing up your hands and saying IDGAF.

Hopefully this will end with her donating a lot of cash to help fight the virus, and with nobody ever forgetting that she said that vile shit.
