it's interesting while bernie's voting on gun records isn't the best... joe voted for the war in iraq. guess it's ok to be responsible for deaths in middle eastern countries, so long as it's not in the u.s.

Bernie also voted to fund wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, bomb Kosovo and Yugoslavia, and give full war powers to Bush, as well as to kill the 2007 Immigration Reform bill that would have created a path for hundreds of thousands of Dreamers.

Why do his supporters never look at his record?

As for gun control, he took $11k from the NRA and has voted to kill all kinds of gun control measures and to make it impossible to sue gun manufacturers, while at the same time, voting to allow obese people to sue McDonalds. So it's ok to hold some corporations responsible but not gun manufacturers.

2007 Immigration Reform bill that would have created a path for hundreds of thousands of Dreamers.
It’d be nice if you stop spreading this shit without adding the fact countless immigration rights groups were ALSO against and Labor right groups were also against it. The guest work program was, to many progressives, akin to slavery and a very good reason to oppose the bill. I know lying is your thing but c’mon....

Also, if Bernie voting for Afghanistan is a bad thing (and it is. No wonder he apologized for it), Biden’s record is simply unpalatable. So you either support Biden or you think Bernie’s militaristic record is bad. Can’t do both things at the same time.

If it makes you feel any better, Biden will pretty much be a puppet president. So, as long as the people pulling the strings are progressive, we should be okay. Certainly much better than we are now.

there is a very small chance anyone with progressive values will be his VP or in his cabinet

I just don’t get it... why?

Because what many don't seem to understand is that a lot of what Bernie wants to do (while great) just feasibly can not get done. It's pie in the sky. There isn't money for it, there wouldn't be votes for it. AOC has admitted that M4A couldn't even get passed. On the other hand, Biden actually co-sponsored the Violence Against Women act. He's very for the Environment/Climate change. Was way ahead of Obama on LBGQT rights. Biden wants to improve on the ACA, including a public option. He's a lot more progressive than people realize.

And unlike Bernie he works really well with Senators of all stripes and colors so he can work to get a lot of stuff passed that will help move the country to a more progressive future. Bernie doesn't work well with others. That is well-known on the Hill. That's why.

if biden does end up being the nominee i'm gonna think of it as being a vote FOR the supreme court (and all lower courts!!) rather than a vote for biden. but yes even though he's my third least fav of all the democratic candidates that ran i will of course vote for him over trump, 10000%.

Yep. This is so much bigger than our hate for Biden. The supreme court is on the line. Please let RBG retire knowing she'll be replaced with a liberal judge

i will be heartbroken if she ends up being replaced by another kavanaugh :(

There is zero chance that Biden replaces her with even a liberal judge. You'll get a moderate - at best - and there's a better than nothing chance they'll be pro-life.
