If it makes you feel any better, Biden will pretty much be a puppet president. So, as long as the people pulling the strings are progressive, we should be okay. Certainly much better than we are now.

there is a very small chance anyone with progressive values will be his VP or in his cabinet

But isn't slightly more left than someone who is already (very moderately) left so much more than what we have now? We shouldn't have to settle but like this is the reality :[

You know ONTD don't read! xD I mean I voted for Warren but like an idiot I sent it the day of Super Tuesday. I should've waited a freaking day. :[

I hope Bernie wins but...it's not looking good

He is not centrist though. Realistically, he is right-wing. Even by US standards.

This isn't ideal in any way but it is SO much better than what we have now and I cannot believe so many people who claim outrage at Trump do not see it that way. :[ Like obviously the problem is systemic but throwing up our hands when so much is at stake isn't going to change the system, it's just going to get us four more years of Trump

You mean the black people who voted in S. Carolina, Mississippi, Missouri, Michigan, etc.? Those people pulling the strings?

The DNC hasn't supported Biden. They were dithering between Pete and Bloomberg. Rep. Clyburn endorsed Biden and then the voting started.

It's not a giant conspiracy. If the DNC had any clue, the primaries wouldn't be so fucked up. They're not doing anything, they don't even have money to do anything.

No, clearly when the person I was replying to was talking about a puppet presidency with people pulling strings, they weren't referring to voters.

Also, you're being deliberately obtuse if you think the DNC hasn't supported Biden. Why did every other Dem candidate drop out and endorse him all before Super Tuesday then?

Because they can all count, they knew they wouldn't get enough delegates to matter and they're Democrats, they understand that it's important to support the nominee to beat Trump. That's the goal. Why is that so hard to understand?

The DNC thought Pete or Bloomberg were going to emerge as the nominee and they had written Biden off. They aren't some big, evil corporation anyway. It's Tom Perez and some office staff who aren't even very good at coordinating debate venues, much less organizing some deep, dark behind the scenes strategy to rig the primary. This isn't the XFiles. They're barely competent, there's no one there capable of pulling strings to make anything happen.

Lmao @ you making DNC’s #1 apologist admit the DNC is completely incompetent.

You’re right though
