I neeeeed to know what the federation told Agnes that led to her killing Maddox. It’s a shame that she’s a murderer and all because I did like the chemistry between her and Rios.

Also I know most people don’t like Narek/Soji and I get it. But also I love that trope of a spy falling in love with the person they’re supposed to be spying on. So I can’t hate it. Lmao.

I'm pretty sure they'll address it, because [Spoiler (click to open)]there apparently was a scene of an Agnes/Commodore Oh mind meld in S1 preview. I'd speculate that the EMH comes back and snitches on her and sets it all off.

Though I thought Chabon was trying to lay hints that the Commodore wasn't a Vulcan because she was wearing sunglasses but whatever I guess...

I still have the theory that Agnes is a Synth herself and that Rios is actually the spy.

Hugh is the best and must be protected at all costs! And I am in the minority of people very here for Narek/Soji. I'm a sucker for that trope too. And Harry Treadaway doesn't hurt.

If I hear Raffi say "JL" again, I'm going to scream.

The JL thing really bugs me. I get that they wanted a quick short hand to show that they have a deep, established relationship but so did Picard and Riker or Picard and Troi and neither of them would have ever invented a nickname for Picard. Also, I just don't think JL suits him.

it feels cheap to try to make raffi and "jl" seem close this way.

I think they just finished filming the third season so probably a while yet since they'll have to do all the post work.

I'm enjoying Picard but tbh it only makes me want Discovery to be back even more.

I really liked this one. It was nice to focus back on Picard and his feelings about the Borg. It makes sense that he's still carrying that trauma. Hugh was great and I loved that he got to share with Picard how his experience on the Enterprise changed not only Hugh but all of the XBs that Hugh is now working with

The casting on the young Soji was pretty great and I finally am emotionally invested in her. I realized the moment she started to tear the floor apart that it matter to me if she made it.

ikr to your last point actually, like when he was applauding her manipulation with her former starfleet colleague in getting him diplomatic credentials, and was all "YASSSS!" and clapping her, and she's busy being depressed af and off her face on booze and collapsing all over the place. Just like.... help the woman ffs JL.
