Well it's over.A little less than a year after its purchase, Disney is dropping the "Fox" from 20th Century Fox and Fox Searchlight and rebranding both as 20th Century Studios and Searchlight Pictures,

i watched the phantom menace on disney+ the other day and they still kept the fox intro. i wonder if that's going to change soon.

im seeing people on twitter saying this is happening because fox news is so toxic but like... this was bound to happen eventually. no way was disney keeping the 'fox' name around. im only surprised it took this long.

Former employee here, yes Viacom owns Paramount. They even sold shirts at H&M.

It was only one of the few remaining historic studios so of course Disney wants to snuff it out. I'm sad about this. Also monopolies are disastrous and we should all be worried.
