Well it's over.
A little less than a year after its purchase, Disney is dropping the "Fox" from 20th Century Fox and Fox Searchlight and rebranding both as 20th Century Studios and Searchlight Pictures, respectively.
The change has already begun as email addresses for Searchlight employees have dropped the fox.com address.
The family film Call of the Wild, coming February 21, will be the first film released with this new banner. Downhill is the first poster to have the new Searchlight credit.
No decision has been made about what will happen to 20th Century Fox Television and Fox 21 Television Studios.
