i never play it myself but when i hear it at the club people go off! i think because you can jump instead of dance for parts of it which is relatable for the rhythmically challenged

Most of the other tracks sound more like her first ep & album. This and Finally are the only two twangy ones

I think some of it is calculated but I also think from some of these artists it's genuine. These are the kids who grew up on the 90s New Country explosion and it makes sense that they reference those sounds in their own music now.
