And needs the money. Plus she can be sure he‘ll give up parental rights and never show up to take custody.

If you don't insist on a white infant, adoption isn't that expensive. My husband and I just finished all of our training and we spent <$500 and the state will pay us monthly until she's 18 + free in state tuition at any public university. Most states welcome parents of any type because the need is so large.

“You could meet somebody and for that year it feels incredible, but there is never a guarantee because there are so many variables that can happen. Life is a funny old game.”

Ahh, so that's basically what happened between her and Liam. I'm in my early 30's and I want children. If I had her money I would do it.

that statement hit home for me because even though in my twenties and still very much on the fence about eventually having children because 1. I'm single and have no plans to change that, and 2. I probably can't ever afford it, I feel like I've seen so many relationships (celebrity or otherwise) deteriorate after children become involved and I would be constantly terrified of that happening. I don't know if I'd ever feel truly secure enough in a relationship to not subconsciously suspect that the other person will tire of me once I've produced their offspring. and the world does NOT view single mothers kindly, especially if they're trying to date again

Yeah, IA. And Liam seems like he likes the idea of playing dad but not actually putting in the work.

That's so many men too. My brother in law appears as a devoted Dad on social media but is impatient and dumps his kids of whenever he can to go do whatever he likes to do.

I don’t want kids. I think maybe when I’m older- like late 40’s or 50’s maybe? I might foster. And adopting an older kid or teen isnt out of the question. But bio kids? Fuck no.

Good for her. If you have the means and want to be a parent I don't think not having a partner should stop you.
