God. For American celebs I am trash. I grew up on Asian media, and I don't really watch TV or movies, and I barely read ONTD, and just check on it for the off chance I do know someone, or if something looks juicy. I also really appreciate an active LJ community still existing.

Politicians I recognize a lot of the names, but I don't really watch any news, only read about it, so identifying them by looks... I don't know if I could.

I got a 22.... which is expected. Most of which I had the reaction of "oh, thats what you look like." to.

I answered 42 correctly. Apparently I can’t pull names out of the air for some of those generic white men that are still inexplicably running for the democratic nomination. And I’d consider myself pretty well informed.

When I can’t name them, does it suggest a problem with them or with the way the media has been covering the primary process?

Who, Bloomberg, Buttegieg and Steyer?? If you don’t know who they are I don’t know that I’d consider myself well informed.

So I put in Xi Ping and that’s “good enough” but Greta Thurnberg is wrong and Make Zuckerberg is wrong? They’re called fucking typos, NYT!!!

This. I love the people replying to me with really? Like yes, a couple of other people mentioned how they were marked wrong even if they had one part of the name right.

I spelled Julian Castro's last name right, but think I put Juan for the first and it told me I had it wrong.

Well I think Juan Castro is his brother so I can actually understand that one lol. But yeah, the other typo related errors were so silly
