Not surprised, but I went and took the quiz and if you spelled the name even slightly wrong they said it was incorrect. Even if you got the last name correct.

yeah, thats my problem too. if you put the first name (I wrote Greta only) and got 'close enough' but spelt Mitch McConnell wrong and got it wrong...

I put Greta Thurnberg and got it wrong. “President of Ukraine” was close enough, though. Wtf??

it’s crazy how if you went almost anywhere else in the world, ronaldo and messi would be household names and immediately recognisable to most, even if you weren’t a football fan, but in the states, as this poll reflects, it’s like, who?

i think this poll definitely shows a need to engage young people more in the democratic process. some of those numbers for the dem candidates are dismal. how are you going to made an informed choice if you don’t even visually recognise the candidates???

They're lucky they don't have to deal with it

I guessed Messi randomly even though he’s in every commercial break ever and on every pack of Lays
Same with LeBron and Brady. I just knew they were the most well known athletes of their respective sport but I did not know their faces

I got 38 of 52 questions correctly, better than 58% of Times readers

I skipped a few bc I didn't know their name but I knew what they did. Then I realized you could also put their title instead of the name and that marks it correct. You can also just type in their last name

Really? I would’ve gotten a bunch of z-list Democratic candidates and the female soccer player then
