Yes. The first time i saw a woman coducting the songs with her hands, and she would clap after each song. The second showing, after the credits i overheard discussion of the original actors and their movie counterparts.  Everyone praised the dancing.I would never talk crap about how awful a film was if i was an actor, because you never know how a film will turn out. Plus anyone in the cast can just tweet a picture of her in that woody Allen film. Not one the " Cats" has that distinction.

My friend and I plus 2 girls behind us were the only ironic viewers, the others were gasping when macavity did something bad and laughing at the 'funny' lines by james corden and rebel wilson. So yeah
