it was obviously weird, but when portia said "only child" I died
I read spoilers and theories about this show, but even so, I am not sure how it will end. I hope they keep it a secret. if this show doesn't deliver on the finale, I will be so disappointed. it's been a great ride, but last night's episode was too cheesy. the scene with WR was eye roll inducing. I mean, the end part was supposed to be cheesy obviously, but the WR scene was too much imo.

When they were video-chatting she made a little mention of him acting “like a typical only child” and he agreed with her. Plus you see his dad’s phone’s home screen that is just a picture of him, his wife & child Elliot.

I hope Darlene from the original world is still able to switch over to this new place and be in the finale. I’m team Darlene. Also I was so happy to see Angela & Tyrell again.

I really hope it's another persoality of Elliott's protecting him because having multiple realities is such an easy cop out. And I know they have been implying the alt reality shit for the longest time but I will still be dissapointed. I don't think two hours will be enough to explain this shit and I really miss the aftershow they used to have on The Verge where actors and Sam answered a lot of fan questions

I hope so too. I mean, I guess in essence they're the same thing, but I still hope they don't go completely sci fi. it would change the show for me.

Same. I really hope its a mental illness thing. That thread has been longer/stronger to me than this alternative realities which seems like a cop out/easy answer/everyone is happy somewhere but Man in High Castle did it better thing.

So that's the "other one" we've been talking about, I guess. But WHAAAAA?! This is some Castle Rock S1 shit, I'm guessing? Or not? It's kinda wild for a show to definitively embrace sci-fi in the finale, though I've been wondering since Angela's "the people who died, they're all going to be okay, right?" thing if we're officially Going There at some point. I'm just gonna trust that Sam planned this out well & hope for the best.
